Just checking in on how are things going on with the old VZ gang. Doing the RL thing here, one daughter in college and 2 more in high school to bring up. Working my Engineering job and playing a little WOW when time permits.

    Just want to give props to the old heads that played with me from the Dark Purism days "Blood & Honor!". Watching the growth of Defiant and joining you all before the merger of servers. Props to Lias, Isule, that perverted Shammy who used to send me those crazy messages. :-)  Much thankst o  all those names of the countless great peeps I have met and played with in this game. Hopefully met some of you in future MMO’s.

Hi, It’s Maverness checking to see how everyone is doing. I felt a little nostalgic tonight, and wanted to see how Defiant is doing. I’m sure there have been alot of changes in the past few years since I left EQ, but it is nice to see some names that I still recognize. Hopefully everyone is still having fun.

Since it has been some time, I should reintroduce myself. I was with Defiant for a few years, joining when it reformed with the dissolvement of Cymbrogi (lol, I wonder how many people remember that). We had some great times back then as we were fighting for our lives against the Prophets. And I still remember when we finally put the last nail in their coffin by assuming control of Sebilis. Those were some fun times, and I always loved logging. It was like being with my fifty+ closest friends.

many years have passed and i still recognize most names here. Of course here, most of them are old in-game "enemies", yet i still love the feeling.

i don’t know if it’s "nostalgy", but it make me miss the game alot, this game is/was really a one in a lifetime experience.

Cool to see some haven’t given it up~
